Comments & Reactions

Comments and reactions are the primary ways users engage with discussion threads.

Comments

Any member of the organization can reply to a discussion with a comment. Comments support text content and are displayed in chronological order within the thread.

Voting on Comments

Comments can be upvoted by other users. This helps surface the most helpful or relevant replies within a discussion. Vote counts are displayed alongside each comment.

Reactions

Reactions let users respond to discussions quickly with emoji reactions. Multiple users can add the same reaction, and the count is displayed on the discussion.

Moderation

Teachers and admins have additional controls over discussions:

• Pin a discussion to keep it at the top of the list.
• Lock a discussion to prevent further comments.
• Delete comments or discussions that violate guidelines.
