Podcasts

Podcasts let you create and manage audio content within your organization. You can organize audio material into podcasts with individual episodes, providing an alternative content format alongside courses.

Podcasts must be enabled in your Organization Settings to be available.

How Podcasts Work

Each podcast acts as a container for related episodes. You create a podcast, add metadata like a name, description, and thumbnail, then populate it with episodes. Episodes are streamed to users with optimized audio delivery.

Key Features

  • Episode management — Add, edit, reorder, and remove episodes within a podcast.
  • Audio streaming — Episodes are streamed with HTTP Range request support for efficient playback and seeking.
  • Deploy to Apple Podcasts & Spotify — Publish your podcasts to Apple Podcasts and Spotify to reach a wider audience beyond your platform.
  • Metadata & discovery — Each podcast and episode supports names, descriptions, and tags for easy browsing.
  • Thumbnails — Upload custom artwork for podcasts and episodes.

Use Cases

  • Lecture recordings — Provide audio versions of lectures for on-the-go learning.
  • Supplementary material — Share interviews, discussions, or expert commentary alongside course content.
  • Audio courses — Build entire courses around audio content for topics that suit a listening format.
