LearnHouse includes a context-aware AI assistant powered by Google Gemini. The AI reads the content of your courses and activities, so its help for students and teachers is specific to that material.
How It Works
The AI assistant operates at the course and activity level. It reads the content of the current course or activity to provide contextually accurate responses. This means answers are grounded in your actual teaching material rather than generic knowledge.
Beyond chat and content assistance, LearnHouse can also generate images and audio (text-to-speech, a two-voice podcast, or a single-voice talk) directly in the editor. AI usage is metered by AI credits, and free organizations start with 20 credits to try things out.
AI features require a Google Gemini API key to be configured at the instance level via LEARNHOUSE_GEMINI_API_KEY. See AI Setup for details.
