Promotion Codes

Promotion codes give buyers a discount at Stripe Checkout. They live in your connected Stripe account, so you need Stripe connected to use them.

Create a code

Under Payments → Discounts, click New code and set:

Code: what buyers type, such as LAUNCH20.
Discount: a percent off, or an amount off in one currency.
On subscriptions: whether the discount applies to the first payment only, for a number of months, or forever.
Max uses and Expires (both optional).

Promotion codes only show up at checkout for products that have Accept promotion codes at checkout turned on (Products → Edit → Price).

Click Turn off. The code stops working for new purchases. Stripe never deletes promotion codes, so it stays in your list.
