Emails
LearnHouse sends email for account and membership events. There is no in-app inbox or notification center: everything below arrives by email.

These emails can’t be turned off. They carry your organization’s branding:
- Sender name: the Email Sender Name from organization settings. The sending address stays the platform’s own, so SPF and DKIM keep working. If you leave it empty, emails come from “LearnHouse”.
- Language: your organization’s Default Language.
- Logo and color: your square logo (or your wide logo if there is no square one) and your primary color from Branding.
- “Powered by LearnHouse” line: follows your watermark setting on LearnHouse Cloud and the Enterprise Edition. Open source instances always show it.
Tips for organization admins (LearnHouse Cloud)
On LearnHouse Cloud, organization admins also receive occasional tips about their organization: for example a nudge to publish a course still in draft, a note that a published course has no learners yet, a heads-up when the organization nears a plan limit, or a message to celebrate the first enrollment or completion. Learners never receive these.
- They are sent once a day, at most 2 per week per admin, and at least 48 hours apart.
- Most are skipped when the organization has been active in the last 3 days.
- Self-hosted instances don’t send them.
Unsubscribing
Every tip email has an unsubscribe link. It opens a page that asks you to confirm (Confirm unsubscribe), so a mail scanner opening the link can’t unsubscribe you by accident. Mail clients that support one-click unsubscribe can also use it directly. Unsubscribing stops these tips only: account emails such as password resets and invitations still arrive.
Addresses that hard-bounce or report a tip as spam stop receiving tips automatically.
Self-hosted instances need an email provider to send any of the emails above. See Email configuration.
